HABC Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)

The qualification is ideal for those already working, or preparing to work as a First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

 

Intensive Interaction

Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is a complex Autism Spectrum Condition characterised by anxiety driven need to be in control.  Children and young people with PDA need a different approach to the ones used with other Autism Spectrum conditions. This course will teach learners how PDA differs from other types of autism. Most importantly the course will teach effective strategies to ensure that those who work with children and young people with PDA can support them to help them meet their potential and manage their behaviour.
