This course is suitable for staff who work with students with Sensory Processing Disorders and also other additional needs, such as Autism, Dyspraxia, Postural Disorders, ADHD and general learning difficulties.
Staff who work with pupils in specialist settings, or mainstream primary schools, will find this training appropriate.
No prior knowledge is required.
Course content:
- What a Sensory Circuit is all about
- Identifying children who will benefit from Sensory Circuits
- Shows a good range of possible interactions/engagements with those who sometimes don't engage
- Promotes problem solving without knowing it
- Focus on choicemaking

- How to adapt to different environments, e.g. outside, small room
