With ADHD diagnosis increasing, it is more important than ever for those working with young people to fully understand it.
By doing so, teaching and support staff can make their own lives easier and get the best from their students.
Aims of the course:
To gain a full and current understanding of the neuroscience of ADHD in secondary-aged young people (11-16) and why it can impact on achievement and behaviour in school
To explore current and practical evidence-based, clinically-assured, strategies for the whole school, whole class and individual that can enable positive behaviour and reaching academic potential, making school life easier and more enjoyable for staff and students alike
To find out about national and international resources available to students and staff
