Executive Function and the new SEND Landscape

£85.00+VAT

Course deliverd by live video conferencing

The government's proposed SEND reforms have elevated executive function from an implicit feature of 'cognition and learning' to a standalone area of development, recognising its central role in children's access to learning and everyday functioning.

Join us to learn what Executive Function is really all about - the neuroscience, what happens when it's working well versus what happens when it's not working well, and to gain some strategies on how to improve executive function in your classroom.

Suitable for primary, secondary and FE settings.

"I learned a lot from the training course. I think its very useful to know what is happening to children inside their heads, to be able to understand their behaviour and actions.  Brilliant online course.  Denise was very knowledgeable and approachable.  I found the course very useful and it will have a positive impact on the children in my class"

Jessica McCook, Christie Memorial Primary School
