•To learn strategies to prevent school avoidance
•To learn strategies to support those that are school avoiders
•To gain knowledge of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to school avoidance including exploring of the ‘Working Together To Improve School Attendance Guidance’, updated and statutory in England and Wales from August 2024
•To know about useful resources and associations that can support schools and families where a child is school avoiding.
