Complex Needs Improving communication to improve mental health

Mental Health in all sectors of the population is on the increase and is very much on the agenda to meet the needs of all children and young people. Evidence and research shows that anyone with a learning need or Complex needs is at a much higher risk of suffering from Mental Health issues.

 

One of the major risk factors identified for Mental Health is social isolation. This risk is heightened if a communication need and learning difficulty is present.
