Cannot thank Phoebe Caldwell enough. Everyone should experience this training: emotional, enlightening and has made a huge difference to how I perceive Autism and in the way I will work to support children and adults with Autism. A huge thankyou

Stevenage Educational Trust
I am the manager of the Stevenage Educational Trust, a charitable trust with a membership of 53 institutions which includes all of the 44 schools in Stevenage and the surrounding villages, the 7 Children’s Centres, North Hertfordshire College and the Education Support Centre. In my time at the trust I have worked with Concept training for the last three years and in that time I have found them to be a professional and highly effective training provider. We have run a number of training courses for School staff and they have received 100% positive feedback.
The trainers are excellent with a real feel for the subjects delivered and the administration of the training has been highly effective with nothing too much trouble to arrange. I have always found Concept training to be keen to develop and provide the most relative training in partnership with their clients. With this in mind I have no hesitation in recommending Concept Training as a provider of quality training.

National Autistic Society
Just wanted to let you all know how marvelous it was to hear your trainer on Wednesday. its easy to get a bit blasé about training when you are doing it all the time but it was really moving, inspirational and fresh. Felt like I was sitting listening to a very wise woman-which of course I was. I’ve just received a phone call from a friend who works in an ASC resource base and who has been struggling to reach/make any progress with a new little girl since September-she went into work Thursday, used your trainer’s approach and the results have been remarkable-including the little girl sitting down on a chair for the first time-and up to 18 minutes by this morning.
Please pass our sincere thanks on to your trainer, -as a parent it means so much that she is still willing to drive such long distances for the sake of our children, what must be considerable sacrifice to herself

The Purcell School For Young Musicians
I have heard nothing but positive feedback so far from my colleagues on an afternoon that provided many insights and much practical advice. Thank you for condensing at our request your customary longer session into a single afternoon and for creating such an effective blend of didactic and interactive over the course of the session. The very comprehensive nature of what you covered in this afternoon’s session will, I know, prove useful to us all as we seek to deepen our expertise in supporting pupils on the autistic spectrum

Pendle View Primary School
Pendle View Primary School is a large generic special school for pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Offering high quality and relevant training to our staff is of high importance and using a training provider such as Concept Training always guarantees this. The website offers clear, detailed and relevant information on all the courses so I can choose the ones that are most relevant to the needs of my staff. Booking courses via the website is very straight forward and a response is always received via email within 48 hours (usually less). I have sent staff on a range of courses including Behaviour: Positive Ways of Changing Behaviour, Intensive Interaction: Sensory Issues And Communication Using Body Language, PMLD: Profound and Multiple Learning Disability – engaging children in learning and Understanding Attachment Disorders. The feedback I receive from my staff is always outstanding and has resulted in me buying the training into school so all our staff have the training. The staff I have contact with at Concept Training via email or telephone are always very friendly and will do their very best to accommodate my requests for training. I have never had any problems with lack of communication or incorrect or insufficient information being provided prior to the training – whether that be training within my own school or an external venue. The trainers are always very friendly and provide training in a professional but engaging way using high quality resources including power point presentations, hand outs and a range of other relevant resources which support the content of the course. I regularly recommend the courses delivered by Concept Training to my colleagues in other Lancashire Special Schools and I receive similar feedback from them about the quality of the training.

Warwickshire County Council
I have had the pleasure of commissioning Concept Training to deliver a range of learning solutions including; Autism Awareness programme for our Early Years Workforce, Intensive Interactions for our Social Care Workforce and bespoke programmes for Social Care Workforce for us since 2007. During this time I have found them to be completely professional not just in their communication but in the delivery of appropriate professional learning solutions. All of the commissions have been delivered to the highest standard and feedback from delegates has always been extremely positive. Trainers always arrived promptly and well prepared ready to deliver the sessions. Their expert knowledge has ensured that staffs are fully capable and confident to complete required tasks following the training. This has resulted in us being able to measure more effectively the impact of the training on both the staff and our service users, which ensures that we can demonstrate a greater return on our investment. I would most definitely recommend Concept Training to deliver learning solutions.

Jack Tizard School
ack Tizard School is an all age school for 70 pupils with severe and profound learning disabilities in West London. Twice rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted,2011 and 2014, we have a high staff ratio to meet the very diverse needs of our pupils. In order to ensure that we provide children with the best education possible, it is essential that our staff are well trained. As Deputy Head, part of my role is to identify staff training needs and then the appropriate trainers and courses. We have found the training offered by Concept to be very effective not just for individual staff, but also for the whole staff group. They offer a wide range of specialist courses which are extremely well organised, cost effective and run by people with the specialist knowledge and experience we need. One of the great advantages of working with Concept, Janet Price in particular, is that they know what we need. Janet will highlight courses she thinks will be of interest, rather than bombarding me with emails about courses that bear no relation to our pupil population! Given the number of emails a busy school deals with in a day, that attention to detail is something we really appreciate. As well as having some of their public courses adapted for delivery to our whole staff group, including all our therapists, I have also been able to go to them with a very specific training request for a tailor made package. All members of our staff who have attended training organised by Concept have found it to be valuable, pertinent to their work and have enjoyed the opportunities provided to share knowledge and discuss common issues.

Mapledown School
Concept Training have provided continuing professional to Mapledown School across a range of Special Education areas of learning for many years. They are a trusted company who are not only very good at what they do, enabling many of our staff to increase their knowledge and experience in working with students with Severe Learning Difficulties but also very easy and pleasant to deal with; they will always go the extra mile to accommodate us. In the main, we have sent staff to their one and two day courses but we have also very successfully organised their trainers to come into our school for the day. Our staff not only enjoy but also learn a good deal from these courses whether they are new to special needs or more experienced in the field. I have no hesitation in recommending them as trainers.
