Using 'P' Scales - Observing and Assessing the Progress of Pupils with Special Needs

The course will illustrate and discuss the use of 'P' scales - from P1 - P8 for assessing the progress of those pupils 5-16 who are working towards the National Curriculum. The course is suitable for both Teachers and Learning Support Assistants.

Outcomes of the course:
An understanding of the nature of progress for very special pupils
A knowledge of the approaches to collecting evidence
An ability to make assessments from evidence
An understanding of the approaches to moderation
