New course: Understanding Behaviour

This course is suitable for those working with clients who offer challenging behaviour by aggression, verbal abuse, disruption and opposition.  It will not deal with serious offending behaviour.

Aims:

The course will offer an introduction into the following

  • The nature and extent of challenging behaviour
  • Positive strategies for intervention
  • Assertive management conflict resolution and restorative models
