This course is suitable for teachers and support staff who deliver or co-ordinate the Personal Social Development curriculum in special schools.

The course will cover:

  • The essentials of emotional well-being
  • Enhancing social skills including anger management
  • Developing assertive communication skills
  • Promoting self esteem

Delegates will gain:

  • An introduction on the emotional wellbeing and promoting emotional intelligence
  • Practical strategies to promote social communication, self awareness, conflict resolution and anger management
  • Skills in developing self esteem amongst pupils
