This course is suitable for teachers and support staff who deliver or co-ordinate the Personal Social Development curriculum in special schools.

The course will cover:

The essentials of emotional well-being
Enhancing social skills including anger management
Developing assertive communication skills
Promoting self esteem

Delegates will gain:

An introduction on the emotional wellbeing and promoting emotional intelligence

Practical strategies to promote social communication, self awareness, conflict resolution and anger management

Skills in developing self esteem amongst pupils
