approaches to support children and service users to make positive behavioural
changes

- How to put behavioural theory into practice

- About the escalation of behaviour and calming strategies
Outcomes of the course:
- An understanding of behaviour and it’s function
- The ability to recognise early warning signs of negative behaviour and make
positive early interventions
- A model for a Behaviour Support Plan and the knowledge to tailor it to an
individual’s needs
- The ability to pass on good practice to whole staff groups
