A course for people who have experience of using intensive interaction and want to develop their knowledge further.
Participants will learn how to:
- Observe a client and use these observations to improve their practice
- Manage personal and environmental factors in order to work creatively and confidently
- Use the physical environment effectively to set the scene for positive interaction
- Extend and vary their interactions in order to identify what works, what doesn?t and how to plan their next steps
Outcomes of the course:
- A fresh perspective on intensive interaction and related approaches
- Practical techniques for planning, implementing and reviewing intensive approaches
- Increased self-awareness regarding their use of body language, verbal and physical cues
- New ideas to vary and extend their work
