This course is designed to be both fun and practical.  The word MUSIC is used in its broadest application - meaning the use of any instrument (including home made, kitchen apparel and body percussion) and the voice.  The course will explore sounds of all kinds and the fun and enjoyment of making them and playing with them; The games and activities are inclusive, so that everyone can join in at their own level and will include lots of movement, narrative and props.  No previous musical skills are necessary.

All those who live or work with adults with SEN will find this course appropriate. 

Course delegates will:

  • Learn many musical games and activities
  • Discover hidden musical talents
  • Discover how easy it is to creatively combine narrative with music, sounds and movement
  • Discover ways to use the voice and body to have fun and enhance communication and social skills
  • Discover song writing talents
