What we mean by special needs
How to communicate successfully with people who have difficulties communicating
Why people behave in a difficult way and what can be done about it
What Autistic Spectrum Disorder is and how to help people on the spectrum
What the multi-sensory approach is and how it can be applied

A thorough grounding in the skills and techniques required to work with people who have special needs
An understanding of the potential of the multi-sensory approach
Practical tips on how to provide individuals with support
