This course is suitable for teachers and support staff who work with all types of learning difficulties. The course will explore how to enhance the experiences of pupils by developing sensory and whole body methods of communication and learning. There will be practical opportunities to develop skills in presenting sensory and social stories and ideas of developing literacy across the curriculum.
Please note the course will not cover sign language or picture exchange communication systems but all of the above can be used alongside the methods suggested at the course.
