This course is suitable for teachers, support staff and carers working with students with specific learning needs in mainstream and ESBD settings, including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia

OUTLINE:

The course will explore the nature of difficulties involved with specific learning difficulties and suggest practical strategies to help with perception, spelling writing organisation and self esteem. The course will provide opportunities to plan individual intervention and support and to evaluate resources.

• The nature of specific learning difficulties
• Building positive self esteem
• Practical strategies for developing spelling writing and organisation
• Evaluating resources including ICT and screening
• Planning intervention for individuals 

Cost of course: includes lunch, refreshments and supporting notes

£185 (+ Vat) for the 1st place, £165 (+ Vat) for 2nd and subsequent places on the same course.
