There are now many children who have characteristics of more than one syndrome and provide challenges as how they can best be supported. This course will look at the concept of 'co-morbidity' and explore practical ways of managing behaviour and supporting learning.
Course content:
- Exploring the concept of co-morbidity
- Understanding the nature of spectrum conditions
- The effect of attachment disorders
- Strategies for effective behaviour management
- Enhancing teaching and learning
